The Tennessee Volunteers have all of the momentum that you could possibly ask for inside the state right now. Now, they’re hoping some of that in-state momentum builds elsewhere — perhaps all the way to California.
The Vols received some good news over the weekend, landing inside of the top five of four-star linebacker Kourt Williams. Oklahoma, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Penn State joined the Volunteers as finalists.
Williams is out of Bellflower, California. You probably remember that Tennessee was able to pull another blue-chip linebacker out of the same state during the 2019 cycle in Henry To’oto’o.
