Tennessee picked up another commitment for its 2018 recruiting class Thursday when three-star junior college defensive end Dorian Gerald announced his decision via Twitter.
Gerald (6 feet 3, 255 pounds), who plays at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, Calif., is a top-15 junior college recruit nationally. Gerald, a native of Florence, S.C., chose the Vols over South Carolina, Louisville, Florida and LSU.
Gerald is the Vols’ 17th commitment for the 2018 class and the fifth from a defensive lineman.
Green was an underrecruited prospect during his high school career, which led to his decision to head west.
