After surviving the East Tennessee State University Buccaneers 72-68 in their season-opener on the road in Johnson City Tuesday night, the Tennessee Lady Vols have a quick turnaround as they return home for their opener at Thompson-Boling Arena Thursday. They will face Central Arkansas in the season-opener for the Sugar Bears.
Kellie Harper’s team nearly blew a 10-point lead against the ETSU Bucs with less than four minutes to go. Due to foul trouble, she had to go 10-deep into her rotation. But at least she was able to give her players more experience and more rest ahead of this matchup.
