They just keep winning in SEC play. For the sixth straight time, the No. 22 ranked Tennessee Lady Vols came away victorious in a conference game, beating the Vanderbilt Commodores on the road 78-69 at Memorial Gym in Nashville.
Despite trailing at the end of the first quarter, UT used a dominant second quarter to take control of the game. Up next for them is a trip to Columbia to face the No. 1 ranked South Carolina Gamecocks Sunday.
With this win, Kellie Harper’s team improved to 17-4 and 7-1 in the SEC, and Vanderbilt fell to 12-9 and 2-6 in league play.
