A preview to a new era will be on display Tuesday night. The Tennessee Lady Vols, with three starters and four of their top six rotational players gone while under the leadership of new head coach Kellie Harper, will take the court in an exhibition tipoff against the Carson-Newman Eagles.
Harper will lead her players onto the court on the heels of a season in which they went 19-13, finished 7-9 in the SEC, were eliminated from the NCAA Tournament. It also comes after the tough decision to fire Holly Warlick, the program’s first All-American, longtime assistant for all of eight Pat Summitt’s national championships, and seven-year head coach.
