Tennessee football faces a team that finished last year with an identical record to them to open the 2017 season in the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. And although both teams were 9-4 in 2016, are breaking in a new quarterback, and enter the year with numerous questions, the Vols could not be more different from their opponent.
After all, Tennessee runs a pro-style offense from spread formations, while Georgia Tech is a step back to the 1970s with its dedication to the wishbone offense. That makes the requirements for both teams totally different to win this game.
As we get set to break down our keys to this game, the different styles do indeed make the goals for both teams incredibly different.
