Just a few short hours after four-star offensive lineman Tate Ratledge announced that he was committing to Georgia over Tennessee, the Vols received word that Art Green was going to be a Volunteer.
Green isn’t rated on 247Sports yet but is expected to be one of the highest rated cornerbacks in the nation, which makes sense because he was highly sought after. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound cornerback had offers from multiple SEC schools Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Texas A&M.
It’s been a trend lately, but Tennessee football was the first university to get Green a recruiting visit as a junior-college prospect.
