The Tennessee Volunteers made the trek down to Gainesville, Florida to take on the 3-0 Florida Gators.
Heading into the game, the Volunteers were 2-1 and Florida was their first Southeastern conference opponent for the season.
For the past ten years , the Volunteers have been haunted by the University of Florida Gators. Going into Saturday’s matchup, the Vols had lost 10 straight games to the Gators.
Florida was the first team to get on the scoreboard Saturday. Tennessee won the toss and selected to defer, allowing Florida to get the football first.
