It’s a bit odd to be facing a 6-1 FBS team for homecoming, but that’s the task ahead for Tennessee football on Saturday as they continue to try to turn things around in Jeremy Pruitt’s second season. Hey, at least fans could get excited about a decent opponent.
If the Vols win, it will be their second victory this season over a team with a winning record when they faced them and their first over a team that currently has a winning record. So as they try to turn a corner with a 3-5 record and 2-3 SEC record, this is actually a solid step forward.
