It’s no secret after a second straight losing season that Tennessee football needs help. Jeremy Pruitt could only do so much with the team he had, and it didn’t help that he was completely overhauling the schemes for the Vols on both sides of the ball.
Well, with a recruiting class designed to address direct needs, it’s safe to say that the Vols now have a collection of guys who could see the field immediately. And they will have as much of a chance as anybody to do just that.
With glaring holes at certain positions and clear talent coming in, expect more than one member of this 2019 class to start, maybe even from day one.
