Tennessee Football Opponent Preview: LSU Tigers

After posting a 4-6 record through 10 games without an SEC win, Butch Jones was fired as Tennessee’s head football coach.

When the Vols return home to take on the LSU Tigers, Brady Hoke will be the interim head coach looking to keep Tennessee’s bowl hopes alive.

LSU comes into this game ranked No. 20 in the College Football Playoff rankings with an offense that is rolling. Beating this team will be a tough task for the Vols, but maybe an interim head coach will give Tennessee the spark it needs to pull off the upset.

LSU had a pretty shaky start to its season, starting 3-2 with a 30-point loss to Mississippi State and a homecoming loss to Troy.
