A loss didn’t stop Tennessee football from still getting the attention of top recruits in future classes. Less than 24 hours after the Vols fell 38-14 to the Florida Gators on the road, they made the cut for an elite 2023 wide receiver and tight end from Georgia.
Receiver Ethan Davis announced UT was in his top 10. Coming out of Suwanee, Ga., Davis is listed as a four-star on Rivals and ESPN but a three-star on 247Sports. He is a product of Gwinnett County’s Collins Hill High School.
Joining Tennessee football on Davis’ list are the Auburn Tigers, Florida State Seminoles, South Carolina Gamecocks, Ole Miss Rebels, Texas Longhorns, Kentucky Wildcats, Penn State Nittany Lions, Oregon Ducks and Cincinnati Bearcats.
