Upon taking over the Tennessee Volunteers football program, head coach Butch Jones really had his work cut out for him. After all, the Volunteers had been in quite the rut over a span of several years. Reversing the train and righting a program can be very daunting for any head football coach taking over and starting a new regime.
Make no mistake about it, coach Jones jumped at the opportunity to take on the challenge with a full head of steam. Right from the get-go, Jones admitted and acknowledged that he had a tall task ahead of him.
