Tennessee football: Former Vols DT Alexis Johnson invited to Titans mini camp

While Kyle Phillips and Shy Tuttle were able to ink deals, Alexis Johnson Jr. was the final Tennessee football starting defensive lineman looking for a spot on an NFL roster. Well, it looks like he’ll have his chance.

It appears, based on reports, that Johnson has been invited to the Tennessee Titans rookie mini camp. He is the second player the Titans are giving a look to, as they also signed former Vols linebacker Quart’e Sapp, who departed early for the draft but didn’t get selected.

The confirmation for this came from the official Twitter account of Fort Scott Community College in Kansas.
