Darrell Taylor was taken in the second round of the NFL Draft Friday night to kick off the weekend for Rocky Top. Well, Tennessee football ended the weekend by picking up another elite edge rusher for the future.
Weakside defensive end Dylan Brooks committed to UT Sunday afternoon. To make matters even more newsworthy, Jeremy Pruitt went right into Alabama to pluck this defensive star away from the Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers.
A four-star on Rivals, Brooks comes out of Handley High School in Roanoke, Ala. That is on the eastern border of the state, about 45 miles north of Auburn.
