For the third time in three years, Tennessee football will be playing a regular season game at what is technically deemed a neutral site. The Vols are not new to such games. They have gone to so many bowl games over the years that it’s commonplace with the program.
On top of that, they had a history of playing schools at other stadiums that were technically road or home games. For instance, many of their “road games” against either of the Mississippi schools would be in Memphis. They have played road games against the Alabama schools in Birmingham.
