Jeremy Pruitt and his 2018 Tennessee football team are coming off the best win of his young tenure as head coach. The Vols went to Auburn, Alabama and beat a Tigers team that was ranked inside the top-25.
Sure, you could make the argument that Auburn was a tad overrated after starting the season in the top-10. But, that wouldn’t be fair to the outstanding game Tennessee play. Especially quarterback Jarrett Guarantano who went 21-for-32 with 328 passing yards. He added two touchdowns and zero interceptions.
No surprise but Alabama comes into the game ranked number one in the nation with 22 points as their lowest margin of victory on the season.
