The turnaround is what everybody will remember when it comes to Jeremy Pruitt’s second season as head coach of the Tennessee football program. When you go from 0-2 to 1-4 to 2-5 and then finish 8-5, though, that’s what people should remember.
However, it’s still hard not to think about the fact that the Vols could easily have been 10-3. And if a few things had gone differently, they could have been a very respectable 10-3 while coming close to 11-2 in a couple of games.
