Well, what a mess that was.
Week six didn't disappoint, giving us several upsets across the board to really shake up the standings. Unfortunately, Tennessee was one of those teams that was upset. The Volunteers just never got it going offensively, then let up two late scores to blow a 14-3 lead. Tennessee’s puzzling final drive came up empty, and the Vols took their first loss of the season.
Tennessee moves from No. 4 to No. 8, still getting propped up a bit from other results from around the country.
The big one, of course, was Alabama going down to Vanderbilt.
