A few days removed, Tennessee’s overtime loss to Kansas still stings. It was a winnable game — a game that the Vols controlled down to the wire until Grant Williams fouled out. The Jayhawks pulled away in the overtime period as Williams watched from the bench.
It’s not all bad coming out of that game though. Tennessee proved their worth against one of the best in the country. If anyone had any doubts about what Grant Williams could do against a stout front, they don’t anymore. The Vols will be better once Lamonte Turner gets back to 100 percent and is totally back in shape.
