The Tennessee Volunteers have returned to the top 25 in the AP college basketball poll. The Vols picked up a big win over the weekend, beating then No. 20 Washington in Toronto 75-62.
Rick Barnes’ group shut down Washington’s potent attack, which featured a couple of former five-star, top ten forwards in Isaiah Stewart and Jaden McDaniels. Those two were outshined by John Fulkerson and Yves Pons, along with some help from senior guards Jordan Bowden and Lamonte Turner.
In their first real test of the season, Tennessee passed with flying colors.
