Tennessee comes alive in second half to topple Georgia 74-56

The Tennessee Volunteers got off to another slow first half start. However, they showed in the second half just why they’re one of the best teams of the country in defeating the 23rd-ranked Georgia Bulldogs 74-56 on Wednesday night at the Food City Center at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Jordan Gainey led the Vols with 19 points on 6-12 shooting off the bench. Zakai Zeigler had 16 points to go with 7 assists and 6 steals, setting the program record for steals in the process. Igor Milicic, Jr. led the Vols on the glass with 9 boards to go with 9 points.
