After getting back on track with a win at the Missouri Tigers on Tuesday, Tennessee basketball will look to move above .500 in SEC play in an afternoon home matchup Saturday. The Vols have a key conference home game against the South Carolina Gamecocks.
With a 9-5 record and 1-1 SEC record, Rick Barnes’s team won its first game without Lamonte Turner when it beat Mizzou, and it was Santiago Vescovi’s second game playing with the program. That win also ended a skid in which UT had lost four of five games dating back to its loss to the Memphis Tigers back in December.
