If you are a fan of heavyweights squaring off then the Sunday afternoon matchup between the No.7 ranked Tennessee Volunteers and No.1 ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs is for you. This will be the Vols second time playing a top-five opponent, and we are only eight games into the season. However, playing such a tough schedule will only benefit Tennessee later in March.
The Vols hadn’t played a No.1 ranked team since 2015 when Kentucky brought a 25-0 record into Knoxville and left with an 18-point win. Tennessee hasn’t played well against the top team in the land with only four wins in program history.
