Tennessee basketball: Vols offer 7-foot-2 Hunter Dickinson for 2020

Rick Barnes and the Tennessee basketball team have made a point to get bigger with the guys they are recruiting. Take a look at the 2019 class; there is only one prospect under 6-foot-6. The only play is Victor Bailey, who won’t even see the court next season.

Josiah-Jordan James (6-foot-6), Olivier Nkamhoua (6-foot-8), Drew Pember (6-foot-9), and Davonte Gaines (6-foot-7) are all at or over the 6-foot-6 mark. Barnes was even able to land Uros Plavsic, the 7-foot-1 transfer from Arizona State.

The trend continues with the offer to Hunter Dickinson. The 7-foot-2 center is ranked as the nation’s 27th highest-rated prospect, 6th highest center in the land, and the highest-rated recruit from Maryland.
