With one five-star already committed for its 2020 recruiting class, Tennessee basketball is in the running for another elite player. And the Vols got one step closer to securing a commitment from him this week.
Keon Johnson, a four-star shooting guard out of Webb High School in Bell Buckle, Tenn., has trimmed his list to two schools, with an announcement set for Aug. 6. One of them is the Vols, and the other one is the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Ranked the No. 34 overall player nationally and the 10 player at his position, Johnson stands at 6’5″ 180 pounds.
