It’s quite astounding just how fast time flies. The start of the 21st Century began on January 1, 2001, and now we are sitting here in the year 2018 writing an article about 17 seasons worth of Tennessee basketball.
17 seasons have come and gone, and for the most part, the basketball program has been decently competitive. The Bruce Pearl era gave Tennessee fans some of the best years in program history and even got the program to it’s first number one ranking, even if it was just for one game.
As much displeasure and negativity Cuonzo Martin received, his tenure was honestly not too bad.
