It’s early October, and we are already talking about basketball in Knoxville, Tennessee. Crazy right? No matter how you feel, it is much deserved and not because the football program is struggling at the moment. The basketball Vols are going to be good. Probably, really good. Or at least expectations are set relevantly high with a preseason top ten ranking.
How will they handle the hype?
I think this team is mature enough to handle the hype. However, that doesn’t mean they won’t drop a game or two early with their tough nonconference schedule.
The Vols were projected to finish 13th in the SEC last season.
