Is there such a thing as a slump in the midst of a 14 game win streak? If there is such a thing, Tennessee is in one. The No. 1 team in the country hasn’t looked the part in several stretches over the last couple of weeks, perhaps outside of the final 30 minutes against West Virginia.
Still, they haven’t lost either, and there’s something to be said for that. I’m definitely nitpicking here, but this group spoiled us with their incredible hot start in SEC play.
Part of their “slump” has been the actual legitimate shooting slump of Admiral Schofield, who is just 11-42 (26%) from the field (2-15 from three-point) in his last three games.
