Tennessee baseball’s unusually strong start in Dave Serrano’s sixth year as head coach can largely be attributed to some of the young players in the program.
One of those players is freshman outfielder Justin Ammons.
Ammons is a big reason the Vols are 6-1 right now and was named SEC Freshman of the week for the way he played last week, according to the awards released on SEC Sports Tuesday.
