Just when it seemed like Dave Serrano’s team was down and out, Tennessee baseball shocked the world by taking two out of three against the No. 4 ranked Vanderbilt Commodores over the weekend, which has clearly been the highlight of the season so far.
Now, the Vols look to continue the momentum with back-to-back midweek games on Tuesday and Wednesday against lower-level teams at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
But with a 23-17 overall record, they have a heck of a lot of work to do to beef up their resume, especially considering their 6-12 record in the SEC.
