Tennessee announces contract extension for baseball coach Tony Vitello

Tony Vitello is staying put, officially.

Tennessee locked up their baseball coach today, announcing a fat new contract for Vitello that will run through the 2026 season.

Vitello was one of nine head coaches extended on Tuesday by Tennessee.

Tennessee baseball has come back to prominence under Vitello’s leadership, capturing an SEC East crown and a berth in the College World Series this season.
