KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Britton Colquitt pulled off a rare double when the Denver Broncos won Super Bowl 50: Colquitt and his father, Craig, have each won a Super Bowl.
Craig nabbed two with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1978-79. Not many father-son combinations can claim that distinction.
Moreover, Britton’s older brother, Dustin, an all-pro punter for Kansas City, might have a shot at a Super Bowl ring if the Chiefs get hot at the right time.
Colquitt said during an interview on Knoxville’s SportsRadio WNML that it was “awesome” to win the Super Bowl, almost surreal considering so many people counted out the Broncos because of concerns over the offense in general and quarterback play in particular.
