The Tennessee secondary took a hit this week as Bryce Thompson chose to enter the 2021 NFL Draft, but on Friday night, that same group got a much needed boost. Kenneth George Jr. announced that he was returning in 2021, set to play his second senior season.
George has seen plenty of action over the last two seasons, even filling in for an injured Bryce Thompson in spots during the 2020 season. George earned four starts for the Volunteers last year, posting 25 tackles and six pass breakups in total.
The 5-11, 200 pound defensive back was one of the final additions to Jeremy Pruitt’s first recruiting class at Tennessee.
