SEC Track and Field Weekly Notebook (Feb. 16, 2016)
ALABAMA
The Alabama men's and women's track & field teams had a busy weekend, competing in a total of five meets - the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa; the LSU High Performance Meet in Baton Rouge, La.; the Samford Elite Team Invite and Samford Open in Birmingham, Ala.; and the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. At the Iowa State Classic, the Crimson Tide distance corps produced four personal bests, highlighted by junior Robbie Farnham-Rose missing a sub-four-minute mile by less than a second (4:00.92). Seniors Meropi Panagiotou (mile) and Katelyn Greenleaf (5,000 meters) along with junior Hannah Waggoner (5,000 meters) also enjoyed personal-best performances in Ames.
