The Tennessee Volunteers are your No. 1 seed in this week’s SEC Baseball Tournament. The Vols pulled off a sweep of South Carolina this past weekend, clinching a share of the regular season title in the process.
Tennessee is going to finish the regular season ranked as the No. 1 team in the country, and could still land the top overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. They’ll need a strong showing this week in Hoover to boost their 5th-ranked RPI.
The Volunteers will open on Wednesday at 5:30 ET. They’ll take on the winner of Vandy-Florida, who will play a single elimination game on Tuesday afternoon.
