Report: Tennessee adds UConn to future schedule

According to a report from the Hartford Courant, Connecticut and Tennessee are expected to meet on the football field in 2026. Tennessee would pay UConn $1.8 million for the game, per the report.

The two schools initially had a home and home series planned for 2015 and 2016, but agreed to postponing that series. Now the deal appears to only be for a UConn visit to Knoxville.

Tennessee already has a game scheduled for 2026 — a trip to Lincoln, Nebraska to play the Cornhuskers. Nebraska will return the favor with a trip to Knoxville in 2027.
