Jeremy Pruitt has made a big move at offensive coordinator, according to Patrick Brown of 247 Sports.
Pruitt will hire Jim Chaney away from Georgia, as was rumored for several days. Chaney was the offensive coordinator at Tennessee from 2009-2012. Since then he’s spent time at Arkansas, Pittsburgh and Georgia.
It’s being confirmed now by The Athletic.
According to John Brice, Chaney is set to get BIG money from Tennessee. For reference, Chaney made $950,000 last season with Georgia.
Georgia ranked 18th in total offense in 2018. The Bulldogs scored 64 touchdowns and put up 465 yards per contest.
