Jarrett Guarantano didn’t waste any time. Just moments after Tennessee walked off the field against Texas A&M, Matt Zenitz of AL.com reported that the senior quarterback had entered the transfer portal.

Guarantano has been Tennessee’s starting quarterback for the better part of the last four seasons, churning through offensive coordinator after offensive coordinator while also going through a head coaching change. The former four-star prospect out of New Jersey just never developed into what Tennessee needed him to be.
