On Monday night, Tennessee found out that they’d be down a player at the quarterback position heading into the 2018 season.
It may come as no surprise that Junior signal-caller Quinten Dormady, who was a part of Butch Jones’ 2014 recruiting class, announced via tiwtter that he is transferring from the program.
Dormady passed for 925 yards and recorded six touchdowns, along with six interceptions before being replaced with redshirt freshman Jarrett Guarantano following a 41-0 loss to Georgia in week 5 of the 2017 season.
The former four-star Boerne, TX standout has yet to announce where he intends to transfer to, but it leaves Jeremy Pruitt and company with three scholarship QBs on the current roster, including incoming 3-star quarterback J.
