Nearly a month after the 2020 season came to a close, Tennessee fired its head football coach. Jeremy Pruitt was fired for cause on Monday morning, following an investigation that began all the way back in November.
Athletics director Phillip Fulmer also announced that he was stepping down, creating another key opening for the Tennessee administration to fill.
Needless to say, Tennessee’s next move is absolutely critical. Things have been nothing short of a disaster since 2009, barring a couple of rare bright spots. The Volunteers have yet another chance at a total reset here, so what direction will they go?
