When you think about it, Peyton Manning was built for a place like Memphis. He was born in New Orleans, an urban center in the South with a rich music scene that is right off the Mississippi River. But he played college ball for Tennessee football.
Well, Memphis is a place where he can get that urban center in the South with a rich music and food scene off the Mississippi River in the state of Tennessee. Maybe that’s why he married a woman from Memphis and purchased a portion of the Memphis Grizzlies.
Anyway, for his new show “Peyton’s Places,” the Vols legend apparently goes to Memphis and throws the ball as an Elvis impersonator at Graceland.
