Bob Stoops downplayed Oklahoma’s trip to Neyland in September by saying his team had played in front of big crowds before (though they had never played in front of 100,000 plus fans).
The crowd at Neyland for the Vols’ game against the Sooners was one of the best crowds in recent memory. It was incredibly loud. So loud that on the field level you couldn’t even hear yourself talk.
Oklahoma center Ty Darlington liked what he heard during his visit to Neyland.
