Warrior’s father, Dale Carter, was a star cornerback at Tennessee in the early 1990s, then played in the NFL for 14 years; he twice was named an All-Pro.
Warrior played his high school football at Peachtree Ridge in the Atlanta suburbs. He transferred there from Westlake High, the same school Cam Newton attended.
