Josh Malone may go down as the most underrated wide receiver in Tennessee history. He quietly led the Vols in receiving yards and ranked third among SEC receivers last season despite playing in a run-heavy offense.
But one NFL team could benefit from Malone’s steady production. NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah recently projected the former Volunteer to be selected in the third or fourth round, but believes his talent far exceeds his draft value.
Jeremiah wrote, “My colleague Bucky Brooks has been singing Malone’s praises for the past few months. I’m also a big fan of his game. He has a tall, lean frame and makes a lot of plays down the field against quality competition.
