Despite a slow start to his 2019 NBA Summer League, Jordan Bone stood out in the Detriot Pistons tournament finale. The slow start was at no fault of Bone; it was from the inadequate trade restrictions the NBA has in place. Limitations that ultimately held Bone out of the lineup the first two games of Summer League.
I’m not suggesting missing two games will make or break Bone’s career. However, it does carry a small impact. When you are talking about playing time and money for a future career, you don’t want the NBA and their restrictions standing in the way.
