NBA Draft Results: Jordan Bone goes 57th, gets traded to the Pistons

He had to sweat it out until the final moments of the draft, but Tennessee points guard Jordan Bone heard his name called on draft night. Bone went 57th overall to the Pelicans, who were picking for the Atlanta Hawks after the two teams agreed to a trade. Shortly after, Bone’s rights were acquired by the Detroit Pistons.

After a whirlwind 10 minutes, Bone will land in Detroit.

Bone had a career year as a junior for Tennessee. After a couple of seasons of averaging seven points per game, the light came on for the Nashville native.
