Fellow teammate Grant Williams went to the Boston Celtics with the No.22 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. Of course, everyone was hoping Peanut Butter and Jelly was going to stay together, but Admiral Schofield couldn’t have picked a better destination.
A native of Zion, Ill., which is about halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee, Schofield is going home. Well, he’s at least heading close to his home. Last year’s leader for the Vols was taken by the Chicago Bulls in the second round.
Schofield was an important part of the Tennessee basketball rebuild that Rick Barnes took on over four seasons ago.
