ESPN’s Chris Low spent time with new Florida Atlantic coach Lane Kiffin during a golf event in Boca Raton this week. Kiffin joked about being “part of the deal” that brought new athletic director John Currie back to Tennessee.
Another gem (all in fun) from Lane Kiffin: "You didn't know I was part of the deal with John Currie coming back to Tennessee, did you?"
This is a double-burn on many Tennessee fans who weren’t thrilled about Currie’s recent selection as athletic director over former football coach Phil Fulmer and popular University of Tennessee-Chattanooga Athletic Director David Blackburn.
