As the WNBA enjoys its 20th season, the Lady Vols' impact on the league has been undeniable. Tennessee has had 37 WNBA draft picks, including 16 first-rounders and three number-one overall picks. Forty-two Lady Vols have played in the WNBA and for the second consecutive year, eight former Tennessee student-athletes are donning a WNBA uniform.

The 2016 WNBA season features Cierra Burdick (Atlanta), Tamika Catchings (Indiana), Bashaara Graves (Minnesota), Isabelle Harrison (Phoenix), Glory Johnson (Dallas), Candace Parker (Los Angeles), Meighan Simmons (Atlanta) and Shekinna Stricklen (Connecticut) suiting up for seven different teams around the league.
